Light Bulbs
Light bulbs should be recycled, as they can be toxic and leach into landfill. Many stores recycle them for free including BatteriesPlus, Home Depot, Lowes, and True Value. Check with individual stores for which types are accepted.
Preparation
Light bulbs should be collected in a bag. Dispose of broken light bulbs carefully with gloves and mask to avoid exposure to toxic chemicals depending on bulb type.
