Reuse is a win-win situation. Rather than adding to the environmental hazards posed by our mounting waste stream, we can find a new use or home for items we no longer need. This reduces our waste and the need for new materials to be used for new products. Getting into a mindset of choosing reused items and offering our own surplus for reuse by others is a way to help reduce the harm caused by over consumption, and it is often a way to support others in our own community.
