Bicycle Inner Tubes
Bicycle inner tubes can be recycled to create upcycled bags and accessories. By choosing to upcycle your old gear, we can sustainably keep thousands of pounds of materials out of waste streams and give a second life to gear as upcycled Green Guru Gear.
Preparation
Cut the tubes at the valve to release the air and that way it will be easier to pack for shipping. Do not remove the valve.
Not accepted: tires, small children’s bike inner tubes, tubes filled with slime, balloon tires, thorn resistant tubes.
If there is little to no material left due to heavy use or it is in a state of tatters, we may be unable to use it so please check if it can be used prior to sending it in by emailing: recycling@greengurugear.com.
In return for sending still useful materials, you will receive a discount code for new gear via email, so please be sure to include your email when sending in materials to be upcycled.
