Microwave Ovens
Microwave ovens, in working condition, can be taken to Angels in the Attic in Floyd, The ReStore in Christiansburg, and any Goodwill Industries in the area. Non-working microwaves can be taken to the Transfer Station in Floyd or Best Buy in Christiansburg or Roanoke (Best Buy charges a fee to accept small appliances).
Preparation
Confirm the condition of the microwave, working or not, and dispose of accordingly. The ReStore website shows how to determine whether or not they will take a microwave.
