Glass: Wine Bottles
Clear, clean glass wine bottles can be reused by local winery Woods Acre. The bottles can be brought directly to Woods Acre at the Floyd Farmers Market or to SustainFloyd’s monthly recycling events. If you have large quantities of bottles, please contact Woods Acre directly at (336) 673-1044. I-Tal Acres accepts 1.5-1.75 liter glass wine bottles or other alcohol bottles with screw top only. These can be dropped off at the I-Tal booth at the Floyd Farmers Market. Wine bottles that are broken, dirty, or colored bottles with corks can by recycled with glass at the Floyd County recycling centers. See related links below.
Preparation
Bottles should be clean and dry. Woods Acre will sanitize and remove labels and plastic or metal collars from the bottles.
