Clothing: Socks
Angels in the Attic Donation Center can accept a small number of socks in very good condition. Several sock brands will take back socks of any make. This includes Smartwool Second Cut textile recycling program. You can pick up a Smartwool recycling package through the Smartwool website or SustainFloyd Reuse/Recycle events. Zkano runs a similar program but has no prepaid option. SustainFloyd collects for the GOLDTOE free program through TerraCycle. Individuals can create an account at TerraCycle and join this and other free recycling programs.
Preparation
Socks should be clean. They should be packed loose, not rolled into pairs. They can be any make, in any condition. Do not include any other textiles with your socks.
